Managed to find this and try it out. It's not really a game at all. It's essentially just a tech demo. The animation is fairly decent, with pretty good transitions between positions. But they are all canned. You can't move yourself or the girl. The clothing interaction is minimal - select and drag shifts and then removes the clothing in discrete steps - nothing remotely like peeling the clothes off as in XStory. The only body parts that react to being touched are the tits. The state of the models and textures after removing the censor mosaic is better than in most Japanese games, but not fantastic. At least it's actually modelling penetration. Since there's no actual gameplay, there's no opportunity to build sexual tension and earn a payoff. It's really closer to an interactive porn video (where you choose the scene that plays next) than a game of any kind. The novelty of what they're doing with the engine wears off pretty quickly, and I have to say I disagree entirely that it's even in the same class as XStory Player. |
