Seriously, xpadmin, you should be proud. This is a work of genius. Sordid, grubby, erotomaniacal genius, but genius. I haven't seen the full adult creature yet but the moment the adolescent sequence started I had the same "Toto, I don't think this is Kansas" feeling I had finding Sam in chains. It's a difficult feeling to describe. Basically discovering that one's own hindbrain thoughts have already been thought - and thought better, with more attention and skill - by someone else. Despite all the exploitative stuff tat goes on in the game, the player is still forced to behave in a moral way. Try to grab Monica before the creature has turned her on and that's it, you never see her again. Consent is a very fine line to walk in something like this! I think it really hit me when I realized that to progress in the game I had to think with both my head and my dick. That's actually a good feeling to have. When the game suggests the player's ethical boundaries have been stretched - yes, I really think they have! Anyway ... thank you for being an insane perfectionist. The waiting really was worth it. Couldn't be happier with 3.5. |
