Dear XMoon Team.

After playing the demo I was immediately fascinated by this game and had to purchase it immediately. And I don't usually pay for adult entertainment. So you can take that as a big compliment.
But, of course, seeing something with that kind of potential I immediately thought about how much more awesome this project could become. That's why I'm going to give you some feedback. I will use Tentacle Dreams as reference for this review.

What I liked most about the game:

* I absolutely adored the model of Monica. The first time I saw her in the game, I already knew I was in for a treat. In combination with the physics engine and the interactive clothes it was almost perfect. And I love that you are able to have such different body models. Saiko (?) was a good contrast to Monica.
* The whole concept of making a first person adult game (where you see your feet and your dick!!!) with puzzle elements is great. I've never before got such an feeling of interaction in an adult game before. You're probably familiar with the Illusion games - They always try to push so much simulation gameplay into their games that they never feel immersive. Your concept is simple but very effective.
* The storyline with the Tentacle Dream was really fascinating. The atmosphere had something from H.P. Lovecraft, something from the movie "The Fly", mixed with porn. I loved it. I especially liked that the story didn't seem like just an excuse to show boobs. I was actually curious what would happen next.
* I have a weird fondness of text adventures and I love to type commands and answers. I guess, I'm pretty much alone on this, but I hope that you will not drop this element. I was so excited when I tried the command "Kneel!" in the dungeon ... and it worked! Amazing moment... I would love to see you work on this mechanic even more, refine it and implement it in the gameplay.

What I didn't like:

* While I appreciate, that I can move around freely in the game and explore - it isn't really rewarded in the game. The locations seem kind of dead and empty at this point. That is true not only for the apartment building with the lab but also for the alien word. Atmosphere is the great strength of your games, so you should invest more time to flesh out the game world. Add some models, passers-by, plants, neighbors, easter-eggs to reward exploring, extra locations etc.
* Now, even though I really love the two models in the story, they seemed to be from two different games. I don't know, maybe two different 3D Artists worked on them. Saiko looks much more realistic, while Monica has a bit of a cartoonish quality. You should try to find a common art style - give the artists some direction to avoid this issue.
* Another issue was with the sex scenes themselves. I don't think they were as immersive as the rest of the game, although I love that the interaction isn't taken away from the player.
But penetration can get tricky sometimes, so a slight guidance system would be helpful. But the main problem is the fact that you can't interact a lot during the sex scenes.
I wish I would've been able to "touch* (fondle, stroke, slap, pinch) the girl's bodies during the sex scenes. And since the protagonist can't really move his hips, the only way to actually get into a rhythm is by moving back and forth, which feels awkward.
* As I already mentioned, I love the fact, that I can see the player character's lower body. Normally, you don't have that. What you normally DO have, though, are visible arms. Now, I understand that it would be a LOT of work to add arms, fingers etc. and to have them interact with the game world. And maybe they would be in the way sometimes. But it does take you out of the immersion sometimes.
* The english is sometimes not very good. I'm not a native speaker and I still noticed some weird sentences and errors. And while we're on the subject - I don't know about other people, but for me the text is WAY to slow. Just listening to Saikos wish in the XMas special took forever (by the way - the chimney seemed to be closed off, so I didn't know I could jump in). And because of the thought bubble appearing so slowly I sometimes reacted faster than the game seemed to keep up with. So I got instructions for things I already did.

Final Suggestions:

Overall - I recommendbuilding on the strenghts of your project. Story, Atmosphere, Immersion, Interaction.

1. Continue working on more models for the game world. I already mentioned it before - it feels kind of dead right now. Also, I hope you will get some voice talent to give a voice to the girls.
2. The story was much, much better than I expected, but it could be fleshed out even more. Why not have the main character first go through a normal day in his life? He could meet some people, especially Saiko, so we feel like we already know her and it builds up longer until we get to see her naked. He could fix some computers, get scolded by Monica or drink some coffee in his lab and figure out the last details for his teleporter. The end was also a bit abrupt. I wish, there was something like a final conversation or sex-scene with the girls in which the protagonist comes to the conclusion that the dungeon is the best solution. The decision came out of nowhere. And just keeping them locked away is kind of rough. Don't they have any relatives? I, personally, would find it more exciting if they continued to live a normal life on the surface, while they become the protagonists play things during the night.
And why did the portal to the alien planet in the lab just disappear? I wish you would've made the closing of the rift a task. Hell, the protagonist seems to be a genius who just invented teleportation. Surely, he would've had an idea about how to close the portal with the machines in his lab.
3. Instead of (or in addition to) a log with all previous conversations it would've been nice to have a "quest/task book" that gives you a hint what you should do next. The thought bubbles are nice, but they sometimes either disappeared, took a long time or didn't give clear explanation of what to do next.
4. You might have to look at the teleport machine mechanics and maybe disable them after each experiment. I was able to clone the baby creature by sending it through the teleporter, directly after its first appearance.
5. It would be incredibly fantastic iif this engine would support the creation of stories - something like an adventure maker. Just imagine this: A tool with which creative people can actually breathe life into their fantasies and share them with others. The RPG Maker is cool, but RPGS are not a great platform for erotic adventures - at least, not like this one. Think about it. People invest so much time to modify existing games (Fallout, Sims etc.) to allow naughty adventures. Imagine what people would be able to create with a tool *dedicated* to adult entertainment.
EDIT:
6. Some sort of inventory would be nice. Carrying things around in your hand can get a bit annoying.

I know this was an overly long text and I guess, you guys have limited means, so some of the ideas might be impossible to realize. Others might be stupid. And still others you might've heard before. I just want to contribute. Anyway. I'll continue playing and giving feedback to you guys. I hope all the critizism doesn't distract from the fact that I'm VERY excited about this project. You have something very special here.

Welcome aboard!

Most of the things you mention have already been discussed in other posts.
Just a couple things:
-Monica and Saiko are actually bought models, I believe they come from the same artist
-There is modding in this game (new stories etc) however there isn't an "easy to use" storymaker.
-As far as I understand there is work on the engine done atm like larger enviroments and dynamic models.

IMO they should perfect the engine before adding new stories or models. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the stories but the replay value of this game is really in the free sex mode, at least for me.

Thank you! Glad to be here.

Also thanks for your input, it was enlightening.

I agree with you - the engine should be priority 1 before all else.

I think the combination of story + free play is a good compromise. But the selling point, for me, was the story mode. Free play is a very welcome addition, but there are other products on the market who already have similar mechanics - play room, toys, dress up, pose, screenshots, interaction etc. And, obviously, since some of them have been around for much longer, so they are already fleshed out.
But while I enjoy playing around with those games sometimes - to me, personally, a character needs some form of backstory to be interesting and attractive. Otherwise you just have a puppet without any personality, which I find boring. And this is what this project can provide while the others can't. So I think it makes sense to focus on this feature more than on freeplay mode.

I think the single thing that makes this game awesome for me in free play is the fact it's got a physics engine. Every other game is just static animations.

That said, I understand if other people like the stories more, I just don't see the fun in playing them over and over again which kinda limits long term fun (unless there is a massive amount of stories which takes up alot of development time)

Yes, replayability wise, the stories alone would not carry the game. That's why the combination with the free play is perfect. And the physics engine is pretty awesome - I especially like how the fabrics react. The dream sequence at the beginning of the Tentacle dream was simply fantastic - and pretty effective for showing off the engine.

Welcome to the Moon :D Refreshing to hear some good reviews of the story mode. and when you said...

"The atmosphere had something from H.P. Lovecraft, something from the movie "The Fly", mixed with porn. "

Completely agree. Prsonally I'm a kinky bdsm physics sandbox type of player and really could care less about stories. Any game that lets me whip and leave a mark is a 10/10 for me. But I did appreciate the tentacle dreams story much more than the others because of the humor. with the exception of calibrating the machine, It was fun and none of it felt like chores. (like picking up the trash in XSP2) I was cracking up when i discovered the creature liked to see my dick and watch porn. This game has become my measuring stick for all other adult games.
