hi

@rezzabae

I have some problems with cloth modding.
(maya is such a pain :roll: anti intuitive)

2 days to find out that I have to "edit-> delete by type -> history" for not having filemaker complaining about "is not a maya object"
(and to find out that the "polysurface" "node" is part of object history, not a new kind of component associated with the object -_- )

now, I have problems with "edit mesh -> add division" .
filemaker seems to need corresponding vertices number for the bind mesh and the render mesh.

If I add divisions (or just some new verices) to the braBind, it seems that I have to recreate the render mesh bra from this mesh to have corresponding vertices.
but when I do delete history to my new bra mesh, polysurface won't go away and filemaker complain about " Mesh transform 'cloths|bra' already has object 'cloths|bra|braShape'"

Question is : how did you succeed with your dress / bra mods ?

EDIT :
OK, 2 sec later, I had the idea to delete history before duplicating mesh... now it's working. but seriously ? no other way to delete history after duplicating ?

@laissemoirire

Please make sure you have "Construction history" turned off.

Yeah, the _plugin.ini makes the cloth only work with the pack = pack/pack_dungeon.bin.
Maybe you can delete the line completly and it works with all mods. Have to check that later today...

Yes removing the line will make the plugin work with all packs.

The packs do however have to conform to the new plugin files.

These files in the dungeon pack where changed:

- init\stories\dungeon\settings\stat_monica.dat
- init\stories\dungeon\settings\stat_saiko.dat
- init\std\base\char\brain\code\ref\setting_ref.dat
- init\std\base\main\brain\code\event\gui_event.dat

Search for 'wear' string to see the changes.

The pack modder has to make these changes as well in order for the plugin to work.
