Is there any way to enable the stereoscopic mode without the Oculus Rift?

Someone had mentioned trinus vr. Basically, if you have google cardboard and that application it will mirror the application right to you phone, and it has a ton of settings to allow you to calibrate for for different screens, lenses, and resolutions.

The only thing needed is the sterioscopic view shown on the first post of this thread.

Hello,

I have a small issue with the text when using Oculus. It seems there is a lenght limit to the text bar so when a sentence is too long I can only read the beginning.

Is it something known? Also if it is, I would guess that it might not be high in the priorities and I understand that. I'm just curious to know if there is any workaround.

Yes, this is a known thing. We did not have time to improve that aspect.

No sorry, the Oculus Rift SDK does not allow for that.
So Google Cardboard is not possible.

Isn't "just" enabling stereoscopic mode and removing all the inputs etc possible?

The OR SDK does all the shader calculations now. It simply wont start if there is no OR attached.

There is no mode that allows to run the OR lib without an OR attached.
