steam will be releasing there OS soon, im wondering if i will be able to play on this game on it.

its a Linux like 64-bit operating system, its currently in beta so this is not an urgent thing.

just curious as i will be building a new computer soon and it will be using steam os.

It's doubtful because of the small size of the development team.

I only use windows for gaming so I would love having this game on linux.

I have tried to run Xstoryplayer on Wine, but I haven't been able.

I'm sure once modding is available someone could port it to linux or steam but I doubt the development team will have the time.

Porting a game requires full source code, so 2.2 won't change anything i'm afraid.

Well if someone had the talent they might give that access. Besides from what I've been hearing access to the source code is part of the editing package. I may be wrong. Regardless if someone expressed an interest in doing it it could only help their sales. Assuming of course they were on the level.

AFAICR we'll be getting access to the games dialogue files not the source code unfortunately.

a little late, but would want a linux version too, as i currently only boot to windows for games, that don't run on linux.
as the Engine is selfmade, i have high hopes for an opengl port(must not be 100% at first).

In line with other large companies, Steam also has problems with adult content.

We have had contact with them, but it is not very likely that they will change this policy in the near future.
