Post processing effects to enhance the graphics quality are used in XStoryPlayer (Ambient hsading e.g.), and will be added more in a later stage.
It is true that engines like Unreal and Skyrim have a lot of options for this. But given that we are a small studio we did not have the time to build these.
Our main focus however will be on detailed interaction with the main characters and less on graphics (although that is of course also important).


We use Maya as editor. Exporting from third-party character editors like Poser etc. to Maya is not very difficult.

You right, creating a new model from scratch is challenging. I think best way to create a new model is to derive it from the existing models.

So in Maya you can change the mesh, the hair etc, to fit your needs. Create larger/smaller breasts for a character.

In Maya you have access to the mesh, the skeleton, skin weights, and all the other elements.

Creating new animations will also be possible using our .bvh tool (This is needed if the skeleton changes in size).

You're on a forum. It's kind of a given that any post is automatically open to be critiqued by another users opinion.

I think what he was asking here is will it be possible to use others girls in the existing scenarios.
Like having the model for Tiffany be used in place of the bitchy boss Samantha in Dark Dreams, for example. Or failing that, at least let the venue of the sex encounter NOT be tied to the character in quick sex mode.
Perhaps we'd like poolside with Samantha, or to have Jenna on the rack in the Bondage Den, that sort of thing.
