I see the game is still using directx 9.
Will the game be updated to use 10,11 or the upcoming 12 in the future?

I'm going to be making a "performance" thread soon. I will be comparing the performance of the game in different situations.
For example
1920x1080-DX-Max-Fast sex-0girls="image1.png"
1920x1080-DX-Max-Fast sex-1girls="image2.png"
1920x1080-DX-Max-Fast sex-2girls="image3.png"
1920x1080-DX-Max-Fast sex-3girls="image4.png"
1920x1080-DX-Max-Fast sex-4girls="image5.png"

I will have in game statistics of FPS, Cpu usage, etc from MSI afterburner and the in game feature.
Any thoughts?

I don't believe the engine in it's current iteration will gain any performance from newer versions of direct-x, simply because it's *so* CPU orientated.

My current video card is "dated" by a lot of standards (gforce GTX 670) and the game never taxes it's capabilities, it rarely even clocks up to full speeds.

I'd think they'd have moved to using the GPU for more physics stuff, simply because it's so much better at it than the CPU, but game is still severely CPU bound.

Thank you. Performance thread sounds great!

The next version 4.0 will be using a later version of DirectX.
Because we use our own shaders and abstraction layer there was no need to use a later version.
Also it makes the game better compatible with earlier versions of windows.

Yeah the game is very CPU intensive. especially on core 3 of a quad core as i understand this is where the physics is done.

Ill work on it tonight after work.

That's a rather strange choice as i doubt any sub window XP machines have a CPU strong enough to play the game, lol.
Kidding aside, the main performance bust seems to be Physics.
Only 1 core seems to hit max. Would it be possible to split the physics to 2 cores and jumble about the other stuff to the other cores?

@b00marrows

There are several threads, fluid, cloth, render etc...

But also memory read is used a lot so CPU can't be fully loaded (they need to wait for data to arrive).

Damn right.
Windows xp with directx9
Windows7 with directx 11 -not sure

Most videocards nowadays come with integrated directx support. Crysis was a game that required hardware directx 11if I remember correctly and ignored a windows8.1 with software drivers.

I play on a GT440 which is one of the oldest or the first that implemented directx11 hardware.

What the hell, you play games, you need a proper videocard, sometimes very cheap (resellers offer just a chipset at a low price, dx version and low memory which limits just texture size ingame)

Currently an intel motherboard with a i3 cpu can get you satisfied playing a 3d game without needing a pcie video board.

but porn games are not really made for hardcore gamer playing BF 5478 or batman arkham future gotham of tomorrow next EX
and a midrange laptop should be able to run these kind of games.
(I don't speak of the japanese market which is a totally different market)

and that don't mean that the game can't take advantages of optionnal eyes candy features provided with latest GPUs

You are right.
Before XSP or probably bonetown no porn game bothered with graphic requirements.
My reason I got on this forum. Porn games are all garbage and I am searching for something more than watching porn pixels or 3dthrixxx animations for years.

you're right too !

I would have said, no occidental porn games bother with graphics
in fact, they don't even focus on "game" :D

and this is what makes xsp attracting in the mass of all other porn things.
