How so is the mouse lagging? Is it moving much slower than normal, or is it jumping around?

moves where I tell it to, but only after I've moved. so...skips and hops, i guess.
Like the game can't keep up or something.

It can keep up with my 3500 DPI Razer DeathAdder, so I wouldn't imagine that that is an issue, seeing as if your mouse is the CM Storm Devastator, that only goes up to 2000 DPI.

I've never heard of a game whereby a mouse with a DPI of greater than or equal to something is too fast for the game to track, but I suppose it could be possible if there is a lot of updating that goes on when the mouse moves.

You could use a different mouse, if you have one available to use.

I suppose I could. but I'll see if I can just wait it out. if we get past version 3 and this mouse -still- don't keep up...or whatever...I guess I'll just go back to my old machine for this one.

That sort of problem is usually unrelated to the mouse itself. If you can, try to test with another mouse to confirm.

Has anyone considered that the problem might not be the mouse but the ram of his pc?
