Huh... I didn't even know that they sold computers with six core processors yet.

Dude... they have 8 core processors as well.

Can XSP even utilized 6 cores?

Well, if the game is far more GPU taxing than CPU taxing as the one guy suggested, it may very well not utilize all the cores of a modern 6 core processor, since it will be using the full number of cores and memory from the GPU instead.

You know, that might actually have been the case, all I honestly remember about the computer I had back then is that it only had a 2 gigabyte harddrive and that the OS took up half of that.

I'll consider it, but my computer works the fine the way it is. Until I can consider myself fully migrated to a new computer some point down the road, I'm going to keep this machine on SP3.

lol i don't blame you. :D "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." XP was Definitely my favorite operating system till 7 sp1 came out. XP dispite not getting official updates is still very Clean and efficient. The hardest part of moving on was finding new substitutes for all the programs i used and loved. I'm somewhat of a program/electronics hoarder lol. I used to save all the install files for everything I've ever installed on separate hardrives. This year I finally deleted my XP stuff when i realized i had accumulated 3tb full of data and 90% of which i hadn't looked at in over 5 years :ugeek: .I miss them but It is nice to open "my computer" and not see all red drives for once. only 2 are still red... I'm working on it slowly but surely =)
