Hi
Been trying out the demo on a new machine ahead of buying but after install when I try and launch it I get the error:
Loadlibrary failed with error 126: the specified module could not be found

My trace file only has my system specs and nothing else:
OS: Microsoft Windows 8 Pro with Media Center|C:\Windows|\Device\Harddisk1\Partition1
Cpu: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q8300 @ 2.50GHz (BOX-3: 4095 Mb)
Graphics-card: ATI Radeon HD 4550 (Microsoft Corporation - WDDM v1.1) (512 Mb)
Sound-card: High Definition Audio Device

Hope you can help!

I have googled the error message and it seems to be a known error for certain system configurations.
For example here:
http://servicecore.info/2012/09/how-to- ... s-systems/

best is to google it yourself and see if the fixes for this error are relevant for your system / graphics card.

Best regards

That seemed to do the job and I can now launch the game.
I now have a different problem, my mouse cursor seems to be locked to the top left hand corner, if I try and move it it snaps back to this point making it impossible to select anything.
Have tried running in open gl, direct x and windowed mode but no change.

If you're using a Virtual machine to run the game, disabled mouse integration.

Nope, no virtual machine. See specs above.

Do you have multiple displays setup?

Try to install catalyst legacy 13.1 (not sure if this one is the last version - catalyst "conventional are for hd 5000 and more recent cards)

There is two displays setup, one is a small lcd screen running at 1024x768 the main display a 42" plasma running at 1980x.
Xplayer launches on the correct screen, just the mouse is confined and bouncing back to the corner of the window.

I think this could cause the issue. You could try using 1 display.

Or using the window mode and manually setting the window pos and size yourself (in the settings.ini).
