Tried making a vid and failed horribly between the audio issues and me forgetting half the stuff i needed to show So i am going to do the written tutorial but leave out adding pics for the simple things like opening the hypershade window When i am finished i will do a video following the steps
About half the tutorial is done

Finished part 1 of the tutorial (just editing it left) and ill put that in my tutorial section some time today If anyone finishes the tutorial ill make the second part
there is 1 pdf with lots of words i suggest you read and 2 soundless videos one shows how to add the character really quickly second shows the finished skin weights

there is 1 pdf with lots of words i suggest you read and 2 soundless videos one shows how to add the character really quickly second shows the finished skin weights sweet!, skimming through the pdf, the ones your unsure about are positions "ROT" is rotation normally. back though... that I've never seen before, does maya use Z X and Y like DAZ and cad programs? or does it us laymen terms like forward and backward in relation to its camera or scene? also can BOB be replaced with a female? Isn't that the alternate male body, or did they name a placeholder character bob? I 100% want to put in a girl. I'll hopefully have time to try this out this weekend. but i am on a potato of a laptop without an SSD or dedicated graphics so I imagine it will be a very slow process. Thanks man!

Maya uses Z X and Y You can add anything you like i just had to redo lance but you can add any character you like Its the same steps but there's some extra stuff needed later on which i will cover if someone gets this far Anyway moving onto making the scenes for this story I'm going to reuse the apartment i made ages ago
