0.7.4 has been underway since Monday, and we have a lot of cool new updates coming to the game. This sprint is focused on story updates mostly, but there are also a lot of cool "under the hood" developments packed in.

The release date for 0.7.4 Alpha will be 10/19/17, and we will probably follow that up with one more Alpha release before going to Beta. Thanks again so much for your support, and we are striving to keep up this pace of bringing 3 to 4 updates per month to our subscribers!

Sorry about the delay. When we started testing the standalone build, the UI was doing wonky things. We've got most of it ironed out, but you still might see a few UI issues. We'll be fixing them over the next week.

This update contains a big update to Vickie's story. It is still not 100% complete, but we will have it completed by next release. There are also a lot of optimizations and bug fixes, and the game is running very smoothly. Pathfinding in particular is greatly improved.

The next release will be an Alpha build on 10/26 and will mainly be focused on the completion of Vickie's story. We will then release a Beta on 11/2 that will be aimed at implementing voice acting and polish on the new build.

We have also upgraded to Unity 2017, so we are wanting to hear back from OSX users to see if it alleviates the issues you were having.

Here is the 0.7.5 build of House Party. This version has the ending to the Vickie story as well as a few other surprises. Next release will be a beta on 11/2, and will include voice acting, and game and story polish.

Hey guys! Here's House Party 0.7.6 Beta! This update is mostly focused around bug fixes and polish, but there are a lot of interesting developments being introduced as well.
First off, you may notice the house is arranged and painted differently. We're preparing the game for our next story based around having a date night with Brittney, but we realized as we got into it that the house *looks* like people are having a party in it, what with alcohol, solo cups, and beer pong set up, etc...

We fixed this by redesigning the house to have more of a standard look, and we will be re-introducing the "party" elements down the line via story updates, so the custom stories will now have more of a say of how the house looks and is decorated.

This paves the way for us to begin writing new stories that will be available along-side the Original Story.

House Party 0.7.7 Info and Roadmap







Hey guys! Here are some updates about what's going on with us, and what to expect in the near future!
0.7.7 Release Info:

The new build is looking good. We fixed the issues that were breaking the older quests thanks to the bug reports we got in, and we're looking good for possibly an early release. Originally we anticipated releasing on 11/9/17, but it's looking like we'll have a new build out by late tomorrow or early Wednesday.

Translations:

With 0.7.7 we are finalizing a new way to translate the game into other languages. We are including a Mandarin Chinese translation packaged with the core game, and this will be the first of many languages that will start being available. Translations can be added to over time, so that any elements that are not translated yet, will just display in English in the game. The translations work as a mod, and are placed in the Mods folder. Translation export templates can be generated with the new Custom Story Creator.

New Content Coming Soon:

As many of you are aware, we hired a new writer on board, which means twice as much content twice as fast! I (Bobby) will continue writing the Original Story, and right now, we have the new writer working on a new alternate Story which will be a "Date Night With Brittney" (Working Title) story. Expect more of these alternate stories very soon, and also expect the new writer to get more involved with aspects of the Original Story.

Using the steam version here, and had a few bugs. When I ask Katherine to get private, she moves to the master bedroom, but then just stays there and I can't continue here story.
And is it normal with Ashley's story, that she is pissed after she blew you? Her text says, she enjoyed it though.
