How hard is to import the models into the game? From a 1st year programming experience :P. Well personally i have never dealt with .obj. and i really doubt it is just copy and replace the .obj found in another folder.

non player/npc models pretty easy

Player/npc models you need to do some work
Player models align the model up with the existing one and bind the new mesh to the skeleton

Npc model much more work
You need to make sure the model is correct with internals and textures
then you need to bind it to the tutorial skeleton and manually adjust the skin weights so everything bends correctly
then make a skin collider(low poly mesh) and make sure all the things align up
after all thats done you need to make the face morphs so they can have expressions and talk
