So xpadmin replied into a post that seems to be pretty hard to find, i have no idea how i stumbled upon it tbh.

 It's not like xpadmin doesn't know of this thread..I can't speak about the rest of the fanbase but I'm out of every possible charitable reading of his silence. If (by an actual miracle) he happens to release anything at all, I'll gladly pay. But I think we'll see Baldur's Gate 4 before that. |

Well there's no reading of any silence required here, he basically posted a screenshot and said a new version is to be released this year. Now, if that version is actually released like he says is a different business altogether.
