The main problem with Virtamate is simply that it only works with VR headsets. It's a niche product. |

I will be honoust i loved xplayer but since new release is somewhere around 2035 i am going to put my focus on I actually wanted to try virtamate but I thought you had to have a really good computer or one with a minimum graphics card to play, I just have a regular hp laptop and I seen where it’s VR but the headset you need requires a minimum graphics card that my laptop doesn’t support |

Really ? even on their page is says it requires a Vive or oculus. So if you donate to their patron you can play it right from your desktop ? im very interested now Im only saying this because this is what i see on their page Virt-A-Mate is currently VR-only We want to make sure this is clear before you pledge! Virt-A-Mate demos released to backers require a VR headset with motion controllers. Currently supported are: Oculus Rift with Touch controllers HTC Vive (additional trackers will be supported for controlling more things at one time) |

Dead game be dead game... let it rest. There s plenty stuff happening out here. Devs didnt want to hear the maaaaaaaaaany signals they ve been sent about patreon and community management, well too bad for them. Even if they come up with a superb product in 6 months, good luck making it known widely enough to make this 3 year dev plan even slightly beneficial RIP |

huffie wrote: Nope you can now also use desktope mode There's no such thing as a desktop mode. The game is designed for VR headsets only. |

johnfromaccounting wrote: ive now found some posts that there is indeed and very bare bones desktop mode. but obviously nothing like the VR experience I just want to know if it’s true or not that you have to have a special computer to support it, I’d love to try it but from what I’ve read, the VR headset has to be supported by a minimum graphics card to be used. Anyone know if that’s factual? |
