I always wanted ripping off clothes, but it just isn't possible in this engine. The cloth material will go through the model or stretch out and look like weird glitchy string. But Acid..? haha for what? to dissolve clothing or something more sinister?

Updating the engine isn't really that hard.

You write some new scripts and adjust what you need to and then you compile it.

Yeah but things like fabric and rope are really hard to do in a physics engine. I'm glad it works so well here. They are rewriting the engine now, maybe we will see some tearing clothing in a future build.

and again I ask, why acid?

Why do you keep saying theses things are complicated?

Acid is just alphas on the effected area's. Not that complicated to do.

Ripping in its simplest form is just creating an edge and then breaking that edge.

Also.

What else would you use acid for? Alien shoots acid then it melts the dress.
