I've discovered a way to get Sam chained up with the spreader bar.

I've uploaded a save file for brevity.

Instructions to install this save.


If you wish to do this yourself, pick up the unattached spreader bar, hold down the mouse button while you press escape to go to the city view, go to the Gym, drop the spreader bar, press the L key and save, and then press Alt+F4 to exit the game. [b](This is to dodge a crash, and to make sure the game updates the settings.ini file to point to the right save.) Restart the game, and then play the game as you normally would. Just don't leave the gym by using escape to go to city view.

Notably, and ironically, it's much easier to have vaginal sex with Samantha if the spreader bar isn't in the way.

Okay, I just discovered something about the spreader bar.

Load up chapter 6 of dark dreams, If you wish to do this yourself, pick up the unattached spreader bar, hold down the mouse button while you press escape to go to the city view, move time forward 24 hours go to the Gym.

Sam should be on the treadmill, remember that you just skipped a day of work, so she will fire you if you step in front if her. So hug the walls so she doesn't see you.

Now carry the spreader bar over to her and try to trip her with it, then see what happens...

Okay, I've done more research with this; it turns out that the spreader bar will consider itself to be attached to Sam the moment it gets close to her. I'm going to see what possibilities this opens up.
