@linoleum84 I had this kind of problem newest 3.5 fresh install use directx11 as default rendermode my videocard was not dx11 compatible and the game didn't launch. edit your settings.ini file and change rendermode = DIRECTX11; to rendermode = DIRECTX9; |

@linoleum84 I installed them all without running any of them till the last one was installed. I made a full backup of my directory. No antivirus or any program that could intterupt and installed in this order. 1-SetupFull35.exe 2-SetupPatch35_1.exe 3-SetupPatch35_1_OR.exe 4-SetupHalloween35.exe 5-SetupSavepoints35.exe Then i copied my backed up plugins directory and pasted those over the fresh install, when it asked to merge folders i chose Yes to all, but when it asked to overwrite i chose no to all. I moved all of my pack folders (the ones i extracted and modded) from my backup as well. Then i ran the game. |

Ok I had time and I saw the Xmas upgrade so I decided to make a complete fresh install. Your method works Nautica but i'm not sure the patch is really needed since it's added in the new 3.5 install file. I even added Xmas pack after Halloween and it was working great. But after that, I had severals problems, my antivirus and firewall were blocking and I had to add an exclusion to XSP in order to let antivirus and firewall execute it... From now everything is working except Dungeon EX  and filemaker seems to be broken aswell, "driver0001.ddx" file is missing But it's true that DirectX 11 improves the game it is more fluid ^^ |

I copy/pasted the missing filemaker files from my backup and it seems to be working now

Nice, and yeah idk if i needed to install cetain patches but i figured if i just installed the all, i couldn't go wrong =). As for Dungeon EX It does work but only in DX9 mode. It's the mod pack not the game. |
