That is correct.
But once a certain level of realism is reached the uncanny effect dissapears for most peolple.
The charachters in games like Crysis or Skyrim for example wont trigger the uncanny valley effect for most people(if not all)

For me the characters is thig game could be a little more realistic.

I'm not sure what I said that contradicts any of that, however.

What triggered me was that you posted that it irritates you to see it being used as "a bussword", so...
I see. Maybe I misused "buzzword". I didn't mean to imply that nobody actually experiences it.

I have been wondering something lately: How would women from fantasy races look like in XSP?

Elvish race, make pointy ears and some extra face characteristics. Furries i guess will take a little bit more effort.
Now you got my curiosity :D

The visuals currently do not aim at full realism, but more towards realistic cartoons. Similair to the approach that is taken e.g. the Gf4e videos and other 3d art.

This guy on Hentai foundry seems to be good at making cartoons look 3 dimensional.

I like this one the most.

Nice cartoons. I am not really into furries personally, but an elf does get my attention.

I think changing the characters to look elvish would be a nice add-on.

If you make it optional then ok.
I personally like it more realistic.

Where would you say your furry threshold is?

I want to say 30 percent myself, but how good would a woman with animal features actually look if rendered photorealistically?

I once found a bunch of pictures of women photoshopped as furries of about 30% to 60%. It was actually rather well done and it looked pretty good. Sadly I don't have those pictures anymore. I'm sure they could be found somewhere on the 'net.
