All I can assume is that X Moon fiddled with the download package before you downloaded it, to make it work right away.

Could you post the contents of your start.ini file?

Yeah sure, here:
Code:
//////////////////////////////////////////////////////
// Defines
//////////////////////////////////////////////////////

#define RUNTIME  "../"
#define PACKPATH "pack/pack_dungeon/"

//////////////////////////////////////////////////////
// Unpack
//////////////////////////////////////////////////////

// Uncomment this to unpack a pack
Pack pack1
{
  unpack = true;

  file    = "[RUNTIME]pack/pack_dungeon.bin";

  outpath = "[RUNTIME]pack/";
}

//////////////////////////////////////////////////////
// Pack
//////////////////////////////////////////////////////

// Uncomment this to repack a pack
/*Pack pack
{
  file     = "[RUNTIME]pack/pack_dungeon2.bin";

  zip       = true;
  path_full = true;

  addpath = "[RUNTIME][PACKPATH]*.*";
}*/

I only recently installed, less than a week?

It looks like I was right. You don't have the pack instructions commented out in the first place.

I jusr re-installed the game onto an external HD (solid state for more speed!)
I checked the ini and it had the comment's on it.

Im thinking maybe a mod changed it for me at some point?
Just ignore me, i'm going insane.

This really should be stickied at the top of the mod folder so people can figure out how to install new mods.

can I ask where the heck is the sources folder of the abducted or test pack? I unpacked both and I cannot find it. Without it I cannot load anything in maya!

You need to unpack the bin files so you get a dungen_pack directory like i showed in how to install mods.
